Great product
It does what it says on the box, steams irons, what more do you need to know. Great job.

I recently purchased this stainless steel milk jug for making yogurt in my pressure cooker. I used to make yogurt on the stove top, but I found that the milk would often get scorched at the bottom. So, I decided to try using my pressure cooker instead. And I found Lindy's Stainless Steel jug. I put 5 liters of milk in the jug, added my whisk, put on the lid, and placed it in my pressure cooker. The jug is made of polished stainless steel which makes cleaning very easy, the handle is sturdy and the lid fits snugly on top. Overall, I am very impressed with this stainless steel jug and would give it five stars. It's rare for me to give a product a perfect rating, but this one deserves it. The one thing I would like to mention is when you receive it make sure to clean the inside thoroughly. When I received mine, I noticed some residue from the polishing process still remained on the inside manly around the neck. It required some scrubbing and cleaning with mild chemicals to clean out the polishing compound. However, once it was cleaned, I had no further problems.

Very Nice SS pot folks. As others have stated, your just not sure what to expect since I have never bought a lindy's product before but have herd of the name as I have friends that are dairy farmers. It is an excellent quality product. I can honestly say that I received my box with the jug and was anxious when I opened it, I just wanted to see good quality and not be disappointed. AND, it was. I am very particular and do my research but you just don't know till you get it. This is very nice, the lid is not a sealed lid. They have put a small divot on one side that allows the lid to be force-ably seated. it is not "sealed" but very close. they use the divot or little bump to wedge the lid into place to hold it but not seal it. It requires very little effort to seat the lid but it is not sealed or by any means a screw on cap or anything like that. it is a wedge design and you seat it and push it down a bit and it uses friction from the single little bump to lock it in place. once I realized how it seated I was still very happy as I wasn't expecting a screw down seal. VERY sturdy handle, bail and really solid SS lid. it is one of the best quality SS items I have purchased in a while and I LOVE SS. I will likely use it most for camping and around the house for gardening and cooking but I grew up milking a cow on a farm and it would be fantastic for that as it is it's intent. it has a nice HEAVY duty long bail and this thing can take a beating. I opened the box and pulled it out and quite literally went - sweet. This is really nice quality and well built. I'm not a big fan of welded supports but for the intended audience and purpose it is spot on. As a milk container you do not want rivets on the inside to collect bacteria. This is totally smooth on the inside. no seams, rivets or otherwise. instead of being riveted from a heavy duty standpoint, you have spot welded connections for the bail and lid. You have to realize what this is built for. It is intended as a "milking jug". you don't want seams, rivets or anything on the inside of the jug to allow for bacteria to find a way to get into the nooks and cranny's. my personal use is not for milking a goat, I wanted it for a gallon jug to collect water for camping and boiling. cooking stews and general use. which it was not initially intended or designed for. For what it was designed for, it is exceptional. for what it was not designed for, it is exceptional and a tremendous value. good job folks at Lindy's. My last comment is that it is sold as a "gallon" jug, and it is, if you fill it to the absolute tippy top, which you cannot by any stretch of the imagination put the lid on when filled to that point, then it is a gallon. it is more realistically about 3 to 3 and a half quart - 1 gallon being 4 quarts. in summary: I love it, buy it - you won't be dissapointed.

Decorative, as part of a display. The pail is well constructed and well worth the price. It is designed to take the daily abuse that comes up in the usual process of storing and transporting liquids, etc. Recommend highly, so much so, I bought another. Cheers!
