Can it accommodate a 17-inch laptop?

It can, but I have had my 17 inch laptop slide off the stand. In order for it to be stable I have to make sure that it is tilted downward. This actually makes me have to tilt it a little more than I prefer, because it then blocks my view of the mixer below. I feel much safer when I have my 13 or 15 inch laptop on the Hercules stand. Then it feels 100% solid and I love this thing!

Are the feet thin enough to slide under a mixer?

depends on your mixer, the large format mixers aren't an issue but the smaller mixers may not. The stand has rubberized tips on the feet that may cause an issue.

it might be possible, ive not seen it in any club w cdjs and this stand. i use it for a 12 inch touchscreen laptop, sometimes touch (pad) style, sometimes open with keyboard below. cheers
