Amazing product

While considering the ₹450 price point, the product was nice and good. It has some (forgot, how many of those were there) pairs of additional ear buds, a wire clip, a pair of ear clips and a Boat branded earphone pouch. Built quality of the product is good also sound quality and low frequency extension is decent, at the price point. It has mic with three button remote. In my android 13, it supports Play/Pause control of the music playback and Up/Down of Volume Control or Previous/Next track of Playback control. Even though it has some gray colored semi-transparent material molded cable, it looks premium and charm to me. The boat branded pouch is bit smaller, so that the earphone needs to be wound much tighter in order to keep it inside. I have used Boat Basshead 225 earlier. Am not an expert audiophile or expert reviewer and I haven't heard both extensively at same setup and one by one to compare. Yet from my perspective, it seems, "225 has slightly bit better built quality when compared to 242. On Sound quality wise, 242 has slightly bit less distortion than 225 on lows and also comparatively bit less harsh on highs. And 225's low frequency punch is bit mildly strong or at least on par with 242. I have replaced the pre-installed ear-tips of 242 with one of an old pair as they have better fit to me. I couldn't confirm, yet it seems, 242's ear-tips were tad softer with less isolation and fit to me, than 225's. Both of the above lacks much in SUB-BASS reproduction part, while comparing with some pricier earphones, in my personal opinion. Heard Xiaomi Mi Dual driver sometimes, which has slightly bit better sound quality than both, if my remembrance is correct." Shipping and packaging are also good. After using it for over a week, I'm here to give you an unbiased review. let's start with the Connector pin, it is normally silver-coated, coloured or uncoloured. Just like a normal jack pin, the upper portion of the pin is coated with hard plastic and the brand logo. The build quality is good but it could have been better, there is a plastic pipe coating on the wire, and due to this you cannot predict the thickness of the wire, on the other side, where you get the left and right speakers wires, sometimes these cables are tangled. with all this you will find a clip, clip like which was used by the old Nokia, or other local handsfree also. I'm not happy with this, they can provide the cable organiser like realme buds 2 pro. The mic is on the right-side speaker which gives easy access to your mic which helps you to speak clearly and properly, on the mic there are 3 buttons mounted which help you to Volume Up and Down and pick and cancel the phone call. Mic sound is low, which is received feedback from others. Now let's talk about the Sound, I'm quite not happy with the speakers and drivers, although the sound is good, and clarity is good, but 10 mm drivers failed to provide bass, (I'm a bass lover). fins are good, and give a good hold on ears, but I'm not fond of them. it's your call, whether you want to use or not. Overall: Build Quality ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sound ⭐⭐⭐ Mic ⭐⭐

Bass: The bass is really nice for this price range. If you are a bass lover, you will definitely be happy with the sound quality. Mic: The mic is decent and the voice clarity is very good. However, sometimes it also picks up surrounding sounds too clearly, so the noise cancellation feels a bit weak. Clarity: Overall, the mic clarity is impressive and call quality is good. Build Quality: The build and design are solid with a plastic coating. They fit well in the ears and look stylish. Suggestion: If the noise cancellation could be improved, this would be one of the best products in this range.

This is a product review after using it for straight 2 hours since it just got delivered today. What an improvement firstly from the boat bassheads 225. Now, i dont know what the other negative reviews are about since i personally did not find any issue whatsoever with these infact i am delighted by it. If you are looking a for a good wired earphone and dont want to spend much then this would be the best budget earphone in the market right now. Firstly speaking of the body it is plastic and not metallic and so it has become lighter than the previous bassheads so much that after using it for 2 straight hours i almost forgot i had them put on. I just felt the wire could have been a bit thicker but dont forget the wire is braided and coated with a rubber like material which should resolve that dilemma. These come with ear hooks which to my surprise were so comfortable. I usually hate ear hooks cause they hurt after a while but these are just so soft and fit right in. Moving on the main purpose and the bigger question "BASS". I would say it's perfect. The sound quality is so very crisp and clear. BASS is in the right spot and according to me you dont need anymore. You may hear from other reviewers the BASS is not as good as the previous bassheads please understand it depends on what kind of music you listen and mostly the KBPS which is kilo bits per second. The higher the kbps the better the sound including bass and treble. The loudness is great almost deafening at the highest volume. To check noise cancellation (although these earphones dont say noise cancellation) I made a few phone calls and asked if they heard any background noise and they said they could hear little to nothing of whats happening in the background. Now ofcourse this is in a normal environment and may not cancel the traffic sounds or a loud background noise. The added advantage is the IPX4 sweat and water resistance (you dont find this feature in most wired earphones atleast not in this price range) which is great specially when you work out or when you are jogging or talking a walk. Although since it is wired you will find discomfort and so may want to get wireless bluetooth earphones instead. So heres how i would rate it on a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Price: 5 Build Quality: 4.5 ( Only cause i think the wire could have been a little thicker) Loudness: 5 Call Quality: 5 Bass: 5 (The bass is just perfect if any more bass than this you'd better be putting your ears on a loudspeaker).
