I also love how she speaks on racial issues from her perspective as a black woman. This book was an enjoyable and interesting read; I only wish it were longer and more detailed. The beauty of the book is that it introduces some kinky taboos and does a good job of explaining why certain people may be interested in such taboos and ways in which they can be practiced ethically, safely, and with consent. I also appreciate how this book makes clear that there is always risk when playing with taboo topics. However, each section is unfortunately very short. I would have loved to have more information about the history of each taboo, the various ways of practicing it, and perhaps some quotes or stories from people who participate in it.
