I'm confused about the length of the valve for this bike? 42mm OK or longer?** A: This has nothing to do with the bike but rather with the wheel or more specifically with depth of the wheel. If you wheel is X mm deep you will need at least X +15 mm long valve. Example: you wheel rim is 25mm deep. You will want tube with at least 40mm valve.
