The box, or bag, the markings and the part. There is absolutely no oversite at all unless you buy direct from a Ford dealer. FordTechMaculoco has a youtube video on counterfeit plugs and coil packs and their packages for the 3 valve motor. **Q: Is this the whole thing and not just the boot and coil? I noticed that all my coils on top say motorcraft but one? Should they all be the same?** A: This comes with the boot and coil it's a complete oem coil pack. And yes it can still be a motorcarft coil without being stamped on top. **Q: Will this work for a 07 ford escape?** A: I don't know, get part number from dealership. If same part number then it will work . **Q: Is this a complete set of Coils or just one?** A: one coil, not the set. Motorcraft is the best but no warranty that I know of if/when it fails. You can get the Borg-Warner coil at Kragen/OReilley that has a lifetime warranty.
