I always use a bag liner in all my bags. I highly recommend this bag. I have also purchased the small mini bag too. That will be ideal for just a phone and wallet and keys and lip balm.

this tote is really cute and just spacious enough to hold everyday essentials. definitely not the same size as an everyday tote bag, but it's a good size for a purse. i'd just be aware of the natural wear and tear, the colors fading and the bag losing it's shape over time is actually normal!!
