I have 12 ft ceilings and therefore long blackout curtains. I used this product to shorten the ends and loved the result. It holds up really well when used exactly as directed. **Q: Can I use this to shorten some blackout curtains I purchased? Is it a permanent bond?** A: Worked fine for my jean heams and have washed 2x since without fail. **Q: Will this product work equally well on lighter fabrics? Looking for one tape rhat does it all.** A: I didn't like this product at all. I followed instructions but it simply did not work and I was not using it on heavy fabric. **Q: Can I use this on lace ?** A: I did not and have not used it on lace but it is light enough and soft enough to do so.. I used mine on jeans and as light as it is it is strong.
