My child is now 4.5 and I know it’s time to get him to start reading and writing. It can be a little overwhelming as I have no teaching experience and he is my first. This is naturally appealing to him and he loves tracing the lines and then trying them on his own. It also helps me know what sounds to go over with him. A cool little part we are just using is the back has perforated flash cards for sight words they have been practicing writing. My three year old also loves it but doesn’t understand it as much but is coming along much faster ! Love and have purchased some of the other books from this company
