After reading all the bad reviews I really hesitated to buy this, but at the time I didn't want to spend another $79 to buy another power adapter so I bought it anyway!So far I am happy with the purchase, yes $8 is extremely expensive for a piece of plastic but it beats spending $79.First off the main goal of the clip is NOT to protect the charging cable, but to protect the area where the charging cable meets the charging plug. With that in mind, I think it does its job. Just look at my pictures! ### ⭐ doesn't fit ..product photos are miss-leading *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2016* the product photos make this product look snug and is a perfect fit...let me break it to you now...it is not !it won't fit or stay in place even if the magsafe's life depends on it...and it kinda does...i got this for a new 85W magsafe2 for my MBP 15" retina after the original charger had splintered cables ..starting with the one that attaches to the cable/block joint , it's just too small for the joint..remains open from one side which makes the cable "bend out" ..and even worse...it's stays out because it can only go back in through the small slit in the cable "saver" .. it also slides down away from the joint and into the cable ..you have to keep adjusting and fiddling and twisting and turning ..which i believe actually adds more wear on the cable ...the one that goes on the magnetic plug fits better and is more stable...but will require a bit of adjustment every other day.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seem to be OK, but don't quite fit as nicely as in the pictures *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2017* I've had a couple of the Apple power supplies become weak where the cable connects to the main "brick" ... just past the built-in reinforcement. These little clip-on devices aim to extend the protection a little further, and I think they're doing well so far, but they don't quite fit as cleanly as in the illustrations, which may affect their functionality a bit.Look at the cables you have and notice that they are a little thicker (the aforementioned reinforcement by Apple) near the plug and "brick." This means that your Klip Snaps will not attach so that they are completely flush with either the "brick" or the plug.
