Light & Sound Keys Toy Key Set

My toddler thoroughly enjoys these "car keys". I like that they do have some metal - makes them clink and is a little more convincing. The sound effects are great and crack us up. Of course, my toddler still prefers the real deal - but this is an awesome and safe toy for her to play with.

These keys are bulky for a 2-year-old to hold but are satisfying to play with as a swap for playing with parents' keys! The batteries last a long time. The sound effects are loud and the flashlight is bright, so these are good in a setting that's okay for loudness and brightness! The colors are bright and match the pictures.

Great for 2 year old

I don't often write product reviews but I felt compelled to review this because I am so thrilled with this purchase. My 14mo son is obsessed with phones and is constantly pulling our phones away and pulling himself up to anywhere there might be a phone. The constant crying when we took our phones away prompted us to get him a toy phone. The added set of keys was just a plus for us, not the main reason for purchase. I cannot put words to the absolute joy on his face and the happy dance in a circle he gave when we gave him this. That experience alone would make this purchase worth it, even if it would have broken right away (It didn't). The sounds are realistic and cute, but no stupid music or songs teaching ABC or counting, etc like most toy phones out there we could find. As some other reviewers mentioned, there is no on/off switch or volume control, which we would have liked, but so far we are not finding that too bad. It is not extremely loud. I was worried the antenna would be delicate and pose a choking hazard, as one reviewer posted, but it looks pretty sturdy. If it comes loose, I will be sure to update this review, as that would definitely be a hazard. My son can be a bit hard on his toys and he already banged this around quite a bit and it seems to be holding up well so far. The realistic metal keys on the key ring are a really cool touch. I don't think he would go for something too toy-like. If you have a phone-obsessed child like my son, I would recommend making sure to act as though you are using it sometimes to have a conversation, as that gets my son really into it. You might also want to take it away sometimes and put it in sight but out of reach, as doing that made my son much more into it.

Cute toys. Bought two of these so that both kids could play together with them. A little too loud for my preference so I wish it had a volume control. They seem to have fun interacting. Love that they came with batteries. Have several Battat toys and like them all. Only negative is I wish they all had volume options. Most children have good hearing so have never understood the inclination to make them so loud. For the most part Battat toys seem pretty tolerable.

Oh my grandson love it!

I got these for my 1.5 year old for Christmas and they are the favorite gift of the day. He loves them! The keys themselves are actual metal I think. They will hold up much better than the cheap plastic ones and they even clink like real keys when he shakes them. The fob lights up and makes all the normal car alarm type noises.

I purchased these play keys and play cell phone for my grandbaby to play with so she would leave my real phone and keys alone. The playset is so cute, the keys and the phone are very durable and lightweight. Great way for them to learn and educational also, very realistic, it’s definite worth the money. I recommend this playset.

My little man kept reaching for my grubby keys so I got these for him a few months ago. Now at 10 months he’s started working out the buttons. Usually keeps him entertained for a fair few minutes in the car which is an eternity for a baby.
