Can we add a detergent into the water tank during mop whashing?

Yes isnpossible but only small ammout then remop with clear water and bigger ammout od water

Can it sense that it's going to fall down steps and move away?

Yes, ours goes off on it's own 5 days a week and vacuums a bedroom and upstairs landing. It will sense the drop of the stairs and pull away from them. In the couple of years I've had this it has never fallen down the stairs. I would say make sure there's no objects near or on the top stair though.

Is it good on fitted carpets
