Works great. The crossed lines really help with 1) the putt line you want and 2) shows you the square putter face line. Makes a difference in the putts. I hit 6 of our long putts in a team scramble. Well-made and it is easy to draw in the template. It comes with a marker so that is a value in itself. I like the green color because it lets you clearly see your mark on the ball, so you know it is good. Also, the other side has a place to mark too but I like to use it to line up on the directional logo that are on most balls so the line I draw on the other side is atheistic in its placement on the ball. Easy to use. Grips the ball fairly tight so that there is no movement when marking the ball. Comes with a Sharpie (branded with “Softspikes”) so you can be sure the markings don’t wear off. Perfect!

Really easy to use! Just pop the ball in, draw your lines with the template, and you're ready to go. I love using the alignment lines on the ball to line up my putts. My playing partners just place their ball and putt but I like to read the green, line up the ball and practice swing and putt. I feel like I get a lot more good reads and truer strokes. That's just me though. I love this product

This is a very handy tool to have. I have used the snap on ball markers for years, but I like this one much better. I like the perpendicular line marker on this, because it makes lining up putts and drives much easier. I haven't had the issues that others have had with it being easily broken, but I do not store it in my bag. I always mark my golf balls at home, and make sure I have plenty of spares in my bag.

This simple little device makes marking your golf ball a snap. It is possible to easily make a line around the circumference of the ball without it looking like you had to readjust the ball within the alignment tool. Because of the way it is made the ball can be moved easily when you need to realign the markings. I have made some interesting designs with the tool that makes my ball easily identifiable by anyone who sees it. This is a no brainer to use. Just decide how much or how little you want to mark your ball, slip the ball into the tool, and mark away. I had one of the snap on the ball marking tools and this one is better because it leaves no sloppy lines when you readjust for alignment. It is easier to get the ball in and out of this tool. 4 of my golf buddies now own this type on tool.

Let me start by saying, I really thought this thing was useless when I saw this in the store. But after trying this on one round, every single ball in my bag now has alignment lines from this. PROS: 1. It marks both sides of the ball. One side for putting, and the other for driving. 2. On the driving side, it has lets you draw a thick band which you aim at the flag, and 2 other arrows which is for hitting a fade or a draw. I do not have to consciously think of hitting a draw anymore. I just hit in the direction of the Draw arrow. 3. You can hang it from the side of your bag. 4. Improved my putting. I don't have to think about direction anymore since this takes care of that. I just have to worry about power. CONS: 1. The mini-Sharpie writes very well, but it has a very thin line. You have to color the inside of the alignment grooves. Not a bug deal though. SUMMARY: I really love this tool. I should not have waited so long to use it. I am a happy Duffer!

Product is pretty much what I expected. It will do the job just fine. Quite simple to use and makes marking the ball pretty simple. It is not a 'heavy duty' piece that you could easily store in your bag--better to use it and keep it at home. Also, I will never mark any of my golf balls with the red marker included again The red ink comes off in your hands or pockets and turns the ball into a mess. I have used a black marker and didn't seem to have the same problems.

The putter side of the stencil works great. The swing path side does not. The sharpie doesn't fit in the lines at all. Even the arrows just make a little blob. A fine point sharpie may work but it will likely be a bigger pain in the butt because of surface area.
