McCormick Au Jus Gravy Mix, 1 oz

...High end restaurants often offer this simple roast beef sandwich, and you can easily make them at home using this delicious mix. My family is a beef loving family , and they gobble these down. Thinly sliced deli beef, not over cooked, butter, hoagie type or cuban rolls, small dipping bowls for each person's sauce. We use glass custard cups. I Usually do not toast the roll but could. and sometimes, after making the gravy, I warm the beef a bit. Split the roll like you would to make a sandwich, butter it, lay the sliced beef from end to end, more for the heavy eaters, less for the lighter, close the bun and cut in the middle, at an angle. This is important to easily dip the sandwich in the tasty gravy dipping bowl and make it moist and wonderful.

This makes a fast Au Jus gravy for prime rib or steaks when adding some mushrooms in a hurry, instead of the laboring Au Jus of breaking down the Tid bits of cooked meat out of the pan and deglazing. It’s my go to for a flavorful easy thin gravy. Good quality

The ingredients in this packet taste great. We use it to make Mississippi pot roast, which I highly recommend pulling up the recipe for if you’re not familiar. It’s quick and easy to prepare to feed a few or many people.

You won’t be disappointed. And it’s Gluten-FREE, how cool… right!

It is good but doesn't quite turn out the way I wanted. Overall worth it.

I like this gravy mix in my cupboard for enhancing my beef gravy. The flavor is good for any beef recipe I might make. It is quite versatile.
