Helped Headaches
This has become an absolute staple for me. Very light lemon taste that doesn't bother me at all and doesn't taste like straight salt. I have ADHD and workout a lot and would always get bad tension headaches. I add this to my water and it's helped tremendously. My headaches would put me down for a few days and I would get them every 2 weeks or so. Now I get them maybe once a month. Plus my overall health, reflected by bloodwork, seems better since I'm actually hydrated. Price point is great and I usually have to order another one once or twice a month.

Electrolytes that work!
I cycle outside in the heat 4-6 days a week for at least three hours. This stuff works like a champ to stop cramps and keep me hydrated. I hate the sugary drinks. This is perfect!

Finally, an unsweetened electrolyte drink!
I need to be drinking electrolytes due to a medical condition. Unfortunately, most artificial sweeteners both taste gross to me and upset my stomach. Until now, I've been stuck drinking full sugar gatorade, and getting annoyed every time I tried a new drink mix that proudly advertised "no artificial sweeteners!" only to find out they used tons of stevia (which I also can't tolerate) instead. Not this one! IT IS NOT SWEET, which is preferable to me. The liquid mixes into my water and other drinks easily, and the flavor is very mild - just a slight lemony tang, very inoffensive. I can drink as much of it as I want without worrying about the sugar content, and I am already feeling better because of it. And the price is very reasonable, for the larger bottles! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is tired of overly sweet sports drinks.

Fine for what it offers
I run hot all the time, so I tend to sweat quite a bit no matter the time of year. Summer is always a bit more unpleasant, of course, so I try to make sure I hydrate as much as possible. Add in cycling to work everyday and I really perspire. I cannot tolerate “sports” drinks at all. Too much sweetness for my stomach, and artificially sweetened stuff just tastes awful in addition to not feeling so good on the stomach (worse than sugar at times). Salt tablets seem a bit overkill, especially as I recall the era when forced to down those when they were considered required for heavy exertion in heat. Don’t need that much sodium and other salts. Citrilyte seemed like a decent (and pricey) option to add some electrolytes into my cycling regimen. Knowing it is a concentrate makes justifying the cost easier, and I can get a good six months out of one bottle by diluting more than the bottle calls for; I tend to use just a few drops per water bottle. Enough that I can still taste the citric acid flavor, which gives it a very mild, lemon like taste. Now this is more dilute than it calls for, but it works for me. Now, can I say it makes a difference in my rides? No, if talking about performance. I certainly do not notice a difference in my speed or other metrics (I am a commuter and not a racer). But a little salt in my water cannot hurt me, especially in the heat. It does make the water more palatable, especially if all the ice melts and turns lukewarm in the bottle, as always happens in the Summer months. And it certainly beats some sugar/fake sugar concoction — no puking on the side of the road for me, thank you! I give it four stars just because I find the cost a bit excessive for seawater, in essence. Because of thus, I tend to purchase a bottle only for the Summer months. Someday I may try to make my own version of it, just because I’m frugal. So recommended for what it is.

Elete Add-in works for me
As a cyclist for several decades I've tried numerous energy drinks, but after a half bottle, I do not like the taste. I was introduced to Elete about 10yrs ago and have used it ever since. Don't be fooled by the price and a bottle of this lasts a very long time. For two bottles I tracked the time and number of rides and both lasted right around 225 rides. I use 1/8th teaspoon per water bottle, or roughly 12-15 drops per bottle. If I add too much, the water has a very slight salty taste, otherwise it tastes like plain water. This Citi-Lyte has a very, very light flavor to it and I don't notice it at all. If big nam performance drinks cause you gastro issues or you don't like the taste, this is a great alternative! Also, if you forget your hydration pack in the back of your vehicle for a day or so in the heat, you don't have to declare the pack hazardous waste material and all the funk grows in the reservoir.

Chalky teeth. Not good
I’m a big fan of the original flavor so I thought I’d give this lemon taste a try. The taste is okay... not enjoyable but also not bad. As to be expected. The neutral review is because I find that it makes my teeth feel very chalky leaving an unpleasant after taste and feeling.
