What kind of computer uses serial port?

Used to be all your PCs came with a couple serial ports, now very rare. You will most likely need a usb to serial adapter to use this.

Is this compatible with older model of celestron nexstar 90gt(which has an older 4-pin port)

Should work with any requiring a serial connection. If computer has no serial port (most dont now a days, too slow). You will need a USB to Serial port adapter, Windows will install needed drivers.

I have nexstar 127 Slt , where can I put plug ?

My computer to telescope distance is 30 ft and i also need rs232 to usb converter. which cable should be the 30ft one?

I haven't had a chance to test it, but it might be possible to use a USB over cat5/6 adaptor I have a set up for my Metro barcode scanner. I used it with several other devices and the response time was excellent.
