Despite being athletic, young(ish) and healthy the statin left me fatigued with no energy, chronic muscle pain, neuropathy, dizziness, and problems thinking. D-Ribose is used in the body to directly to make ATP. When combined with Co-Q10 and L-Carntine it immediately (as in first dose) restored my energy and cognitive ability. It doesn't seem to help much with the muscle pain or neuropathy as of yet. I'm usually skeptical of supplments but this worked so quickly and made such a difference. Is the dosing incorrect on this label? 90 servings?** A: They aren't all the same! This is a five carbon ring sugar meant to supplement the ribose that your body synthesizes. It isn't for Energy per se. So, maybe you are thinking about products that contain B vitamins and herbs that help with the breakdown/ catabolism of foodstuff. This is for anabolism/ synthesis of RNA and DNA. I have fibromyalgia with several other health problems and this product really helps me with some muscle pain relief. It’s amazing that I get more relief from this product then I ever got from any prescription. I only take it when I’m having a real bad day but I do believe it also helps me to have fewer bad days.
