Couldn't you just use actual bbs? serious question because they look like bbs..

I think it is a health safety issue !!. They DO look like BB's, but they are stainless steel. BB's have a lead content, I believe.

I haven’t had any problems with the glass being scratched. My guess is that because the balls are highly smooth and polished they don’t scratch the glass.

It doesn't look like a lot, and i havent actually counted them, but given about 100 ball bearings (they aren't ACTUAL beads) per layer in the container, and roughly ten layers high, yes. Close enough to a thousand, if not a few more. At this point, having lost a few every time I clean a wine decanter or glass at work, I'm pretty sure the starting number was 1000 if not a little over.

Would this work well in cleaning the inside of a bong/rig without scratching anything?

If it is made out of glass, it should be ok (use rubbing alcohol). If the bong is plastic, the beads might scratch it.

Super saubere Gläser

Habe es im Fernsehen gesehen und war etwas skeptisch, ob es wirklich so einfach sein kann. Gleich mal bestellt und am nächsten Tag waren sie da. Und es ist der Hammer! Kölsch Gläser und schmale Vasen werden super sauber. Kugeln ins Glas, etwas Wasser dazu, schütteln, FERTIG. Alles wird super sauber, wo man sonst mit Spüllappen nie hinkommt. Danach ab ins Sieb, das lege ich mit einem Tuch aus und dann zurück in das Töpfchen. Einfach geniale Idee
