Baby's Very First touchy-feely Lift-the-flap play book

Usborne never disappoints. It's as you'd expect, flaps on every page, little bits of textures. It's a very lovely book and a good size too for little hands (bought for my 10mo baby). The disappointment was that it came wet and smelling of mould, some of the flaps were falling off due to the damp. I had to air-dry it first, but since then baby has loved it. I did receive a full refund.

Great for toddlers

This book is perfect for babies ready to interact with their books. My 9 month old granddaughter chortles with delight as she flips flaps and touches the various textures.

My daughter (15 months) loves this line of books. So I ordered her this one. She loves to read and we only give her books under supervision. We want to teach her to respect books... Anyway the first time her and I read this book she ripped the flaps in two different spots the first time reading it. The reason they rip so easily is because the flaps are all different shapes and open from the bottom, sides and even diagonally. This is confusing for babies who are very eager to find out what is underneath. And because of the odd shape of the flaps they are more prone to ripping. My daughter accidently ripped the lily pads upon first read... Kinda disappointing. I would not recommend this book for babies.
