Aem 28-20129 Dryflow Air Filter

Will recommend for dusty and sandy areas.

instead of going with a whole intake system, i choose this. I'm not drag racing everywhere. Just wanted a good filter that flows better. Came in a damaged box, but the product was still in the plastic wrapping and was not damaged. Installed it but on my 2018 Silverado 5.3 had some trouble getting the bottom right bolt out closest to the radiator. But a bunch or extensions and swivels made do. One thing i did notice is the AFM kicks in more often now. Kind of strange but that the only difference I see so far and its been about 2 weeks since installation. I do have a Flowmaster american thunder kit installed as well. So ill update the review in a few months to let you know is its all good.

This is an outstanding air filter. Much better than paper and, in my opinion, also superior to the K&N style that requires re-oiling. It provides improved air flow to the engine. I’ve run these in several cars and always notice they run smoother and get a small boost in power. Installation is plug-and-play and it fit perfectly. Highly recommend.

Works great and fit perfect nice and tight to the edges. Definitely can tell the engine is getting more air. Great but and alot better than an oiled filter that can mess with your mass air sensor.
