I’ve found this is produced extremely cost effective compared to other product on the market and works just as well, plus it’s ready mixed. . Review: We found that is emulsion is the best you can use along with plastisol inks. We put two layers on both sides of the mesh and have great results. Keep it in the dark until you are ready to print and you will have good results. Make sure you stir slowly and always bring up the layer on the bottom of the can to keep mix working well. Pop the bubbles with a stick and you will prevent air holes in the emulsion. It levels out nicely when placed in the dry box. We do ten screens at once and have great results. I'm assuming some of the negative reviews may be due to wrong exposure times. I personally use the aun to expose the emulsion. On a regular sunny day, 45-50 seconds works for me. I can't comment on the exposure time with artifical light but it's definitely much longer. **Q: Can I expose this with sunlight and use this with waterbased ink? I just bought a pint and don't want to send it back.** A: Yes you can expose it to sunlight less than 30 seconds. Very important to have it covered in between the exposure time. Its also recommended to have a flat black board underneath the screen , to prevent any light reflections. A flat black poster board will work great. It can be used with water based inks after the screen is fully dried. When you're done printing wash of the ink don't let dry overnight , i will harder to wash off. **Q: Why does the description say presensitized and ready for use, then say to add sensitizer?** A: This emulsion is Pre-Sensitized and ready for use for Plastisol, UV, & Solvent-Based Ink. It will also work for short run water based inks. However, if you are printing high Quantities using water based inks you can add Diazo or use an emulsion Hardener to accomplish that. **Q: If using water based ink, how long would the emulsion last without adding diazo? What is considered a "long run"?** A: Without adding diazo or hardener you can get around +/- 200 prints depending on your design.
