Worked very well. Definitely improved the air quality coming out of the vacuum cleaner, which had that burning dust smell. Now that smell is gone. Suction is a bit better.

I have three of the very same vacuum, a Shark NV356E Navigator Lift-Away Professional Upright Vacuum, ranging in age from 11 to 1.5 years old. Obviously, I'm a fan, but one of the things I love the most is the filters. I keep extras on hand—when needed, I ask hubs to blow all the fine dust from them with his air compressor, and then I throw them into a lingerie bag and wash them in my washing machine. (Not the hepa filter—no washing machine for it. No idea why, but I have always only washed it under a faucet.) They hold up really well after washing and drying in the dryer, but after maybe half a dozen washes, the felt filter (that thin one) starts to get a little fuzzy, so that's when I finally let it go, although I'm betting they'd still work just as well for another half-dozen times. And because we've always had dogs, including Labrador Retrievers, we vacuum a lot. Full-house vacuuming 3x per week, with some incidental vacuuming in between, and the vacuum can start to emit a faint dog-butt odor even before the filters need to be laundered. If you have the same problem, have I got a tip for you! I place about a dozen scent beads (you know, those little scented waxy pebble-looking things for laundry?) between the felt filter and the foam filter. No more dog-butt odor being spread through the air when the vacuum is on but instead, whatever lovely scent the scent beads have. Game changer, friend. Aaanyway, this set of filters is currently $15.99. With two sets of foam/felt filters and one hepa filter, that's a good price. When factoring in how many times they can be "reused" after washing (6–12 times), they are a real bargain.

I can't say enough. Ny shark nv540 wasn't picking up good. I look at the filters so dirty. . Omg. I saw this and my # was on it. I decided to order it So glad I did. My vacuum is working great, full suckage Just like it was brand new The filters fit on spot. Thank you
