Stunning chunk of geode
I ordered the larger size, and was still a bit surprised at how small it was (measurements below), so be aware. This is NOT a massive chunk. It is, however, stunning. My chunk of geode measured 11cm at its highest point and 8cm across at the base. It weighed exactly 679 grams, which was within the 600-700gram range promised. It was a deep, gorgeous purple. The outside of the stone was polished basalt. It was exceptionally well wrapped, with thick padding around the geode. This really is a stunning piece and will have a place of pride in my home. Stunning
This piece is exquisite. This was my Christmas Present from my husband (that I picked out) and It is perfect in every sense of the word and it stands out among my collection of different pieces because of the deep rich purple spikes that sparkle & shine in the light. It has a really nice energy that feels clean and calming. Mine is closer to a pound and has a unique overall shape and even where it was smoothed out in the back it's beautiful with the light grey, dark grey & black stone. Then you have a layer of clear crystal and purple Amethyst tips. No cracks or flaws to be found and it stands upright really good because the base is perfectly level (we checked with a tiny level) and worth every penny as a show piece.
