how long of the sword?

It is approximately 18 inches long. Not too long but, long enough for a 6 year old to feel like a ninja.

We bought this for my son's halloween costume in October. I have 4 very active boys ages 12-3 and this is played with daily. So far ours has not broken and has held up remarkably well to the abuse this poor toy takes. ;)
