A 4.00 inch glass or smaller will work inside the golden top. Dipping into the bottom section, without the top, you could use a slightly larger glass but a 4 inch diameter glass should work for both.

Does anyone know roughly how many drinks this can be used for?

Not sure will depend on much you'd use on each drink. But have used it for at least 3 or 4 parties and there is still plenty left...

Typically " Salt "would not have gluten because it is a mineral, however there may be dehydrating agents, dyes, etc. that may have been added during processing which have gluten. To be safe, this is a question for the manfacturing company.
