Google it. They have to blow the velvet onto the hangers. Not only do they shed on your hands, but they shed microscopically on the inside shoulders of your clothes. Ever wonder why your shoulders itch??? Take a lint roller and roll your shoulders and you will find that the velvet sticks into your skin. I had such a bad reaction either from the dye, the adhesive used or formaldehyde of with I'm allergic. **Q: Do these hangers shed?** A: No. If you follow the directions and rinse them in cold water before you use them, they don't.
