Delsym Adult Cough Liquid

Long-Lasting Relief That Actually Lets You Rest. I’ve tried a lot of cough medicines over the years, and this one honestly feels like a quiet bodyguard for your throat. Delsym 12 Hour Cough Medicine for Adults worked exactly how I hoped it would when a stubborn cough just wouldn’t let me sleep. First thing I noticed was how smooth and easy it is to take. The liquid texture isn’t overly thick or harsh, and the flavor is surprisingly tolerable compared to many other cough syrups that taste like pure medicine. It goes down quickly without that lingering aftertaste that makes you dread the next dose. The real star here is the long-lasting relief. Instead of constantly re-dosing every few hours, this formula uses an extended-release cough suppressant (dextromethorphan polistirex) designed to control coughing for up to 12 hours, which is a huge plus when you’re sick and exhausted. I took it before bed and actually stayed asleep without waking up from nonstop coughing fits, which felt like a small miracle during a rough cold. Another thing I appreciate is that it’s non-drowsy, so I could take it during the day and still function normally. No foggy head, no heavy sedation, just steady cough suppression that quietly does its job in the background. It’s especially helpful for dry, irritating coughs that just won’t stop and make your throat feel raw. The dosing cup included is also convenient and makes measuring simple, which is great when you’re not feeling your best. The instructions are clear, and you only need it every 12 hours, making it very low-maintenance compared to other options that require constant monitoring. If I had to highlight one more positive, it’s how consistent the relief feels. Instead of a quick burst of effectiveness followed by the cough creeping back, this feels more even and controlled throughout the day and night. Overall, this is a dependable, long-lasting cough medicine that delivers comfort when you really need it. If you’re dealing with a persistent cough that’s ruining your sleep or daily routine, this is absolutely one of the most reliable over-the-counter options I’ve used. Highly recommended and definitely a staple in my medicine cabinet.

I love this cough suppressant. It's very effective at calming my cough for twelve hours, rather than the usual four hours if most cough syrups, which means I can get an uninterrupted night of sleep when I'm sick. It's very easy to use, comes with its own measuring cup and tastes good too. It is my go-to when I have a cough.

I had a nagging unproductive cough off and on for weeks. I used Vicks cough drops which gave instant but non lasting relief. I searched for the best non alcoholic cough syrup for adults and this came up on Amazon. I started taking it the day it came according to directions. 3 days later, my cough is gone! I purchased two bottles, one orange and one grape just in case I couldn't take the taste of one or the other? No problem, the orange did the job. Little less than half bottle and my cough is gone!

This product works really well and we have it on the house all the time, but seeing it for $30 at the local grocery store, stopped me on my tracks, and was happy to find it here at half the price. The product has 1 year and half shelf life, so it'll definitely be used by then

Delays stopped my deep and painful cough in two hours. I was coughing 3 days straight. Smooth consistency and nice flavor

This has been good to keep around the house when we need it. It’s easy to take, the orange flavor isn’t bad, and we’ve had a good experience with it. Definitely something I like having in the medicine cabinet.

Delsym, for me, is the strongest, non-prescription cough medicine out there. It's a small bottle, but you only need a small dose. I will keep buying these as needed!

I consider this the best over the counter medicine for cough.
