I recently bought this dartboard "arachnid arcade style cabinet with cricket pro 800" will the light mount on top with no problems?

I have the same cabinet with the 650 and I mounted this on the front plate with the arachnid name plate with the lights at an angle shooting towards the board and it works great it lights up the board just fine the way I have it if I could send a picture I would.

Can this light be mounted to a Viper foam backboard?

Yes. BUT you need to mount them out from the "wall" surface to get the light on the board.

what are the dimensions? length, width, depth? please thanks!

Length 13 in height 2 in depth 1 in

Anyone know what side the power adapter plugs in on ?

Hello and thank you for your interest in GLD Products. When looking at the Shadowbuster while it is mounted on the top of a cabinet, the port to plug in the adapter is on the right-hand side of the lights. Hopefully, this answer is helpful and informs you decision. Have a nice day!
