It does instantly detangle. I am suffering from alopecia/hairloss and menopause. So I need a conditioner that is very gentle on my fragile hair. This really does the job without pulling out all of my hair. I will buy again. The scent is ok too.

This conditioner is SO GOOD. I have very long, very fine hair that tangles sooo easily. And I have a ton of it which requires a lot of conditioner. I have been trying to find a more cost efficient option that the conditioners I was buying at Sephora and happened to grab this at CVS one day. It is SO MUCH better than 98% of the Sephora conditioners. Hair immediately feels soft met and more management and rinses out easily. I am borderline obsessed with the amount of slip it broadens my fine hair, which help make sure my hair stays smooth and tangles much less. If you are on the fence, buy it. You won’t regret it, especially for the price.

I'm picky as can be when it comes to shampoo. I have thick, curly, wavey hair so I have to find something that doesn't destroy my hair or make it look like a puffy western tumbleweed. This cheap shampoo actually surprised me and worked well with my hair. I thought it was going to be primarily alcohol based like almost every other budget shampoo I've used and it was creamy like lotion. I didnt have an alcohol smell at all. It does have a different smell that is REALLY STRONG. It smells like the strongest perfume imaginable... Now take that smell I just described and mix it with baby powder. Thats the smell of this shampoo! It was so overpowering that I considered opening the door while I washed my hair to let some of the smell out. I tried and tried to wash the smell out with more water, and even after my shower when I walked around I could smell the smell in my hair, and it was still almost just as strong. Thankfully by the next morning, the smell had worn off, and I no longer smelled like that person we all know that wears far too much perfume. Other than my complaint about the smell, it really is a good nourishing shampoo. My hair felt smooth after using it, but also didn't feel greasy. I did have to use twice as much as I normally do because it really thick. I would definitely purchase it again if I was looking for an affordable, mid price shampoo. I have also included a picture, so you can see the effect it had on curly, wavy, thick hair.

I just used this conditioner and the matching shampoo for the first time and here is my first impression: 1. The smell you see discussed in the reviews is a strong floral smell. It doesn’t smell bad, but for those who are sensitive to smells, it is just strong. 2. How soft it makes your hair: I can agree to this! My hair was always crunchy prior to this use, and even though I was using a shampoo from Sally’s Beauty for split ends, I still had them and a lot of breakage.

I'm going to start with the positives: - I love the scent. I usually buy fruity shampoos and conditioners, while this smells like something you would be given in a salon. I did not expect to like it so much because it's so different from what I usually buy, but it's very nice! Not too strong or overpowering. - It made my hair very silky after the first use! I had been out of conditioner for over a week at that point and was really in need of some. I was extremely impressed with it, and loved the smooth texture of my hair. Now for the negatives: -My hair has a very fine texture that tangles easily, and especially so when using this. I honestly thought I outgrew hair that tangles this badly, but apparently I've just been using good conditioner! My hair stays okay for a day and then it's a rats nest overnight. I have to use a lot of this to keep my hair like it usually is... It's not worth having cheaper shampoo and conditioner if I need to use so much more of it! But, I feel this is most likely ba problem caused by my hair texture, and most people won't see much of a difference. If you're someone like mom, who can go a week without brushing her hair with more than her fingers and it looks perfect, then I think this conditioner would work fine for you. People with hair that tangles at the drop of a hat, on the other hand? I recommend staying away, unless you're also planning to use a hair oil treatment every week!

Great conditioner. It smells great and left my hair feeling a lot softer than many other brands in this price category. I will purchase this again next time I need conditioner. Bottle is big- so will last longer than the standard bottles. It has a hand pump- so quick application!

Excellent results, great price

Leaves your hair light no heavy conditioner residue. I don't have to wash my hair everyday using these products. Before I would have to wash daily. My hair is shiny not tangled. It feels very soft & is manageable. There is very little scent. I am very happy with this conditioner & the matching shampoo. I would recommend.

The product itself was good, but the lingering perfume smell was too much for my tolerance. My husband asked: ‘what’s that smell?' lol If you’d like to have your hair smelling nice but strong for days after it’s been washed and conditioned, then this product is for you.

IN LOVE with this stuff. I use the shampoo as well. They smell INCREDIBLE and leave my hair softer than expensive brands. My hair is super long and fine, and I have noticed a lot less breakage and split ends. HIGHLY recommend this excellent product for a great price!
