Looking for a display case for a model truck. needs to be 18" long x 6" tall by 6" wide. (dimensions are inside minimums.) any suggestions? thanks

For ideas.. maybe Carney Plastics 1/18 scale undivided displays, may fit your item.Good luck.

What is the interior height?

Interior heights vary as they are custom cases. They usually have cases that come close to the heights you need.

Does the top have a “molding/casting dot” on the top surface, or is it completely smooth?

Yup, a 1/8” dot in a 1/4” depression.

What are in inside dimensions of this case? My model measures 12" long x 6" high x 5" wide. Will my model fit inside this case? Thanks

Don't think so, you won't have the height. The length goes from 13.75" base to approx 13.25" top; the wudth 6"base to approx 5.5" top, however the height is approx 5.5" not including the platform which is approximate .25" thick; you will only have approx 5.25" height clearance.
