TUF-Tite 24" Heavy Duty Flat Riser Lid for TUF-Tite Risers or Corrugated Pipe Risers, Green

I had one original cover break when I drove over it with my tractor. Surprisingly the original cover was just made of plywood with a plastic covering over the plywood that eventually started to rot the plywood inside. These new covers are much stronger and there’s no plywood in these covers either. They are a little wider than the stock covers as well as thicker with the ribs on the bottom side that you can add concrete to make these covers heavier if you feel you need to? I personally felt the covers were fine without adding the concrete and they fit fairly snug into my septic tank tubes. When I stand and even jump on these new covers they don’t seem to give at all. There really much stronger than the stock covers! I was a little concerned about buying these being the diagram on the advertisement showed these covers were larger than my stock covers. But there’s a wider groove on the edge of the cover then the stock cover has that still give the room for these covers to fit inside the old septic tank tube. Only problem I had is where the electrical plug was inside the one tube was too close to the top of the septic tube and the new lid would close completely hitting the plug in box. So I had to remove the plug in box and move it lower to give more room for these new deeper covers to close tightly. Other two kids fit fine since the electrical is only on one septic tube! These also look much nicer on the ground than the stock covers too! Very glad I bought them and would highly recommend them to anyone needing or wanting better covers for their septic tank!

As discribed, qulity product, replaced my older domed riser lid that I kept runing over with lawn mower. Worth the investmnent no more weed eating around it 5 star fast ship nicely packaged

I ordered two of these lids and they fit perfectly on our risers. They are light enough to be able to remove but still sturdy. Our risers originally had cement covers on them and they were very heavy and starting to crumble and I didn't feel they were safe anymore. I recommend these riser covers and they should last longer than the cement ones did.

We've used these riser covers for many years now, and they are great, although, it would be much appreciated if the riser covers were sent in a box, rather than individually. That prevents the covers from being damaged, which we have noticed with our last purchase. Our only complaint is that we hope that the riser covers come in a box next time, rather than being sent individually and being damaged.

Pretty heavy duty, slightly larger than the old one, and I think that's better, because it will keep the dirt from falling in. I had to dig around a little to allow for the larger diameter, but it dropped in nicely, and the screws to secure it with are stainless.

Great fit on tuff tite riser. Sturdy. I buried mine by 14 inches instead of ground level for safety and security, no problems, just use correct size screws. I used star head red deck screws an Bob's your uncle.

Great product, sturdy, looks good, includes the screws, I used this to cap the end of a 2-ft corrugated culvert pipe. Ordered two to see how good they were , they fit good , I was pleased and ordered two more. Also fast delivery. Highly recommend. Good price also. I'm putting this on top of my septic tank lid for easy access next time with little to no digging.
