Works perfectly in my iMac g4
I paid a couple of bucks extra to make sure of complete compatibility with my new used iMac. probably did not have to. But my iMac now smokes. It came originally with OS9 upgraded to OS 10.1 then 10.2 and finally 10.4.11. Now with all the extras, it was slow. I had already upgraded the easy access slot to 512 MB from the original 128 MB. This now upgrades the internal to 512 MB also, and wow. I GB is the most memory it cam access. Too bad, it is still not as fast as my 4 GB Win XP but the AMD dual core 3.2 ghz processor has a big advantage over this 700 mghz single core power pc G4. It does now run youtube videos without a hitch. as well as the office software perfectly. I now love my old iMac, and it loves me back. I think an old iMac is the perfect computer for seniors or computer novices. I had not worked on a an Apple machine for almost 15 years, and this memory upgrades it to a real workable computer.

Got this memory for my old Mac g3
Note this memory will work but this Mac. Is really designed to accept 256 Mb, so you will only have 1/2 memory that is useful

My old SDRAM went bad!!
Got ready to do taxes and my eMac died. Thought I needed a new computer. WRONG! my old ram had gone kaput! (my kids 27 and 30 yrs old figured it out) Ordered this and put it in...miracle eMac back alive....WONDERFUL!!

These ram are great. They allowed me to install new software. Otherwise, I would not be allow to install anything.
