Review: Surprisingly too good. - I was having SOny 24-70 F2.8 GM2 lens. It was weighing a ton..so heavy. I wanted something very lightweight & should give me sharp & excellent quality images. Since Sony FE 50mm lens is inexpensive, I thought it wont be good enough. Bought it out of curiosity. After using it for 1 month, I can say this is an excellent lens. Its super duper light weight. Boque effect is amazing and pictures and sharp. But 24-70 lens was more sharp I feel. Its overall a great lens.

I was having SOny 24-70 F2.8 GM2 lens. It was weighing a ton..so heavy. I wanted something very lightweight & should give me sharp & excellent quality images. Since Sony FE 50mm lens is inexpensive, I thought it wont be good enough. Bought it out of curiosity. After using it for 1 month, I can say this is an excellent lens. Its super duper light weight. Boque effect is amazing and pictures and sharp. But 24-70 lens was more sharp I feel. Its overall a great lens.

I like the lens but AF not good at all, it's pretty much useless. I'll use it with MF with focus pull. Don't buy it if you want to use it for AF.
