Can you do step ups and Bulgarian split squats using this? Is it sterdy enough?

Bulgarian split squats are safe to do with the bench, but we do not recommend using the bench for step-ups.

Has anyone encountered an issue getting the adjustment frame to fit through the holes on the sides of the back support tubes? The sizing is out
