I liked the way the spreader makes it easy to get even distribution over a large area. I have used it for both fertilizers and grass seed and like the way you can adjust distribution rate. The only downside is that it is difficult to restrict coverage to a defined area. You would need to be careful if you did not want a lawn treatment going over a nearby flower border etc. Overall, good value product that seems well built and makes spreading products easier.

For my small lawn, I needed a reliable way to seed it after removing the weeds. This hand spreader was the perfect solution. It offers four different levels for seed release, ensuring an efficient distribution. Its lightweight design, ease of cleaning, and minimal storage requirements impressed me.

Does the job well, have applied granular iron sulphate easily and efficiently. Takes up little space in the shed compared to wheeled applicators which seem to seize up and break, seems to do the job.

Good and strong very simple idea but easy to use

Ideal for spreading feed granules on our lawn, provides quite a wide arch of coverage. Well made, happy with purchase.

Very good much easier to use

Well made. No standard dosing for what the companies suggest. I worked out the area of the lawn and weighed out the correct amount. Then I just set the dosing to minimum and did multiple passes in each direction until the correct amount was applied. Dosed well with no streaking left in the lawn. The extendable handle seems to bend your arm wrong but it's not heavy enough to need it.

Having binned our useless wheeled spreader, given this a try and it does work well. The feed hole is adjustable to allow for different sizes of material and you use the trigger to draw back the hole cover at the base of the ‘hopper’. A small spinner above the hole rotates as you turn the handle to keep the material (seed/fertiliser etc) moving and a rotating disperser below the hole rotates to flick the material on to the ground. You still have to use judgement as to how much material is dispensed per square metre but it beats throwing by hand by a mile. The arm support is very clever, taking a lot of the weight on to your forearm. Very impressed overall.

Works well. Took some time to learn the flow rate etc. The product does what you need it too and spreads pretty consistently one you get the hang of it. My only gripe is that the arm support thing gets pushed in quite frequently which adds more weight on your wrist. (My poor wrist) all in all great product and super easy for beginner landscapers

I like to spread by hand as opposed to a wheeled spreader. This hand held allows me to direct the fertilizer where I want it specifically. So it does that and keeps the spread product out of my shoes. It works well and is easy to clean upon finishing.
