In Kahoots - A Party Board Game

Addictive and a Blast! In all honesty, I'd rather be playing than writing this review. But, it is too much fun not to recommend. There are many things I love about this game: 1) It's easy to learn, 2) It fires up the imagination and memory, 3) It isn't stressful , 4) The game length is reasonable, 5) Everyone can snack or have wine while playing, 6) It's so much fun to hear people laughing and practically see light bulbs go on over their heads when guessing the two-word phrases, and 7) It seems that everyone walks away better friends. Some games seem intent on embarrassing others. This isn't that kind of game.I think it's more about collaboration and having a good time. We have played InKahoots a dozen times or more by now. If there's any caveat to our 5-star review, it is that the rules -- like most games and do-it-yourself furniture kits -- can make it more complicated than it is. For the first couple of trial runs, just skip the timer or the few rules layered to make it more challenging. I just realized this would make a really good TV game. Anyway, have fun. We sure have.

This game is awesome! It makes you think, while giving you ample time to socialize and have fun. The more you play it, the better you become at the timing of your clues, using the fewest words to get the best results. All who we have introduced it to, have enjoyed and some, purchased it also.

Best new game on the market! Can you get another player to guess a two-word phrase in 60 seconds by using only 3-9 other words? It stimulates the imagination, moves right along, and generates much merriment. It's challenging without being complicated. We talked about it long after the game was over.

We had such fun playing this game with family on Christmas Eve. Our last name is Kohout, so of course we had to play it. Lots of laughter and we would probably have played longer, but it was time to open gifts.

Better than I thought it would be! One person has a word they want their partner to guess. The clue giver rolls a dice to see how many clues they can give to the guesser (3-9 words). The guesser changes depending on the roll of the dice so everyone ends up getting 'In Kahoots' with everyone else. I thought the words would be too hard for people to guess with the limited amount of clues that can be given but I was wrong! It was neat to see what kind of clues people would give. Very fun game. I enjoyed how no one knew who the guesser would be until the clue giver rolls the dice so everyone stays engaged in the game. Good for groups of 4 or more.

This is a wonderful game. We have played many times with family and friends, It's fun and thought provoking. The game pieces are very clever, and they make the game easy to play. Lot's of fun conversation. We thought that it was excellent.

I play this game often with a large group of friends (you can play with more than 6 by using plastic business card holders) so I got this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She thought the Instructions were a little cryptic having never played the game before. I borrowed my friends game over Christmas when she visited. Now that she knows how to play it, I’m hoping she has as much fun with her friends as I do with mine.

My friends and I have played this several times and we all love it! I have played in groups of 3 up to 9 and it was still fun. It does take a minute to figure out how to play, but once you know its fast and so fun!
