Good Old Fashioned cough medicine.
Had a chesty cough for several days, my ribs ached from coughing. Bought this medicine, smells and tastes like Old Fashioned stuff but shifted 95% of cough and mucus after 4 doses. The next day only had a slight cough which I hope goes to day. If you don't like the taste, hold your nose and get a grip!

Soothing yes, expectorant so so.
Pleasant enough to take and fairly soothing, but so far the expectorant aspect isn't showing up very much and after taking it for 4 days it hasn't shifted much mucus from my lungs, hopefully it will clear soon so I can avoid a chest infection.
