I had a some number of documents which had been produced and bound by the originator using wire coil bindings, so the holes were already punched in the pages and covers, but the wire coils had become crushed and pages were dropping out. It was very easy to remove each of the damaged wire coils and hand-fed these plastic coils through the pages, to give a first class set of re-bound documents. Very happy with it product.

A lot of these coils were fine. But a lot weren't: about 30% of them were poorly formed, with distorted coils near the end, twisted, and with the diameter of the coil gradually becoming too large. I tried to fix this but it's nearly impossible - they were basically unusable. You can see the difference easily in the photo. The distorted coils also ended up being a little too short - again, you can see this very clearly in the photo, which compares a good one (on the top) to a distorted one. Although these coils were not that expensive, I still expect them all to be usable. There must be some flaw in the manufacturing process, and I think the seller should check this out to see if it can be corrected. I would not buy these again, to be honest.

I return 3 purchases trying to save money, ended up getting these and the quality and size is the best by far

I bought one of the less expensive spiral binding machines a few years ago, and have been surprised at how often I use it. These coils are great for making small booklets. They're durable, easy to use, and dependably uniform. Very high quality. Five stars all the way.
