Didn't fall apart like the others.

Worked very well in removing rust from small metal areas such as a metal plant base.

I got these brushes to shine up the electrical connectors on my very old VW Beetle with my Dremel tool. These brushes work well for that as they are small and fit into tight spots. I used them on the lowest tool speed using light pressure because that’s all that is needed. The first brush is beginning to fray a little but I don’t mind. Not expecting them to last forever.

I've had a Dremel for over 20 years, and it's the most useful, and most used tool I own. Over the years have tried different grinding wheels, sanding drums, etc. and have found the cheapo bargain fittings to be very disappointing. Especially the wire brushes! The cheap ones tend to fall apart very quickly, shed nasty sharp wires at high speed into my clothing, and don't last long at all. So have gone back to original Dremel attachments. Yes, they are more expensive, but genuine Dremel attachments are more than worth it in the long run.

I go with Dremel brand for wire brushes as they've always lasted longer and don't throw wire like cheaper versions I've used.

Dremel quality at an affordable price.

I was purchasing the cheap copies but the bristles would fly off and then you would step on them when you were using the Dremel in your house. I have steel bristles everywhere from the knock offs. The genuine holds up and does not do that. I am very happy.

I really would prefer thicker gauge wires. These don't really remove much material, and they end up bent back even with very careful and light use. The inevitable strays that fly away will get stuck in your skin, but not very deep (wear safety glasses), but since they're steel, they don't get sucked into the vacuum very well and often stay on the floor for an unsuspecting bare or sock footed person later. The knockoff brands are even worse as they throw far more pieces everywhere even at slow speeds, so this is still the best you're going to get, despite not being real good. I'd be much happier with a slightly stronger gauge of steel.

Used for cleaning up a cast aluminium house sign prior to repainting. Whatever you do, *do not* exceed the maximum stated rotational speed (15,000 rpm), unless you want steel wires in your eye.

After wasting my time and money with other wire brushes I decided to stick with the Dremel original items. The Dremel items last longer and are overall better.
