will this work on motorcycle piston rings??

Not sure but it does go pretty small

what is the diameter range

Didn't use this product in the end,as the access to the Pistons I was working on was restricted.A better product for multi cylinder motor cycle engines was obtained and used very effectively,bought from a company called bikers toolbox in the uk,check out their website.

It's not clear what range of piston sizes this will work for - can you please identify this range?

I used it on oversized 460 ford pistons. that's 4.370. looked like you could go to 4.5. it's the best ring compressor I ever used. it's easy to manipulate and above all really fast.
