Having bought a new iMac I discovered that it only has thunderbolt ports and so I can no longer use my hard drive which has a USB-A port. Initially, I thought I would have to purchase a new hard drive with a USB-C port, then realised that these adapters are exactly what I needed, and at a fraction of the price. They work well, and feel strong and durable and I am pleased with both the appearance and the quality. I think they are excellent value, and I have no hesitation I recommending them.

Anker products are simply well designed, good quality and reasonably priced and the USB A to C adapters are perfect for the intended job, My two brands of choice for adapters, cables etc are Anker and UGreen as seem equally reliable

Small adapter, does what it says. Quick transfer speeds, no connectivity issues, plugs in and gets on with it. What I didn't expect was how well-made they feel. The metal body has a nice weight to it, not so light it feels flimsy, not so heavy it's straining the port. For something this small, you'd expect it to feel a bit throwaway, but it doesn't. Two in a pack is useful too. One lives on the desk, one goes in the bag. If you're bridging older USB devices with a USB-C setup, these do the job without any drama.

Great for Apple products

This 2-pack of Anker adapters are very good quality. They worked for me as expected for the transfer of both power and signal to/from my phone and camera. Mechanically they appear to be very sturdy, and are a good tight fit for both the USB-C and USB-A connections. I bought them while they were on special which provided good value. Can highly recommended.
