The Insider magazine did some fantastic stories, and this collection has some of the best, including rare ones. The artwork with the stories is gorgeous.. Review: Who says you can't love both universes? - This is an awesome book. It is a lit more then I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a quick read of tiny text with an illustration at the start of each chapter/story. Instead ot is a fill magazine style short story with excellent illustrations sandwiched around the story. It was also awesome to once again read stories in the Expanded/Legends Universe. Great stories in the Disney Universe as well, but the Legends is my favourite. My favourite story in this collection was of one of my favourite couples of the Legends series. It was great for me to see they were married in the end. There is also a great group of stories following Blade Squadron in the Disney universe. Another nostalgic moment for me was to see the Hildebrandt brothers artwork. I grew up collecting their artwork on the Marvel Masterpeices and Shadow of the Empire card sets among other places. On a side note does anyone else see the resemblance between Dash and Cable? Not every story was a five star story but I can honestly say I enjoyed every short story in the book so it more than deserved a five star rating as a whole. I really hope these books continue I already ordered volume 2. My hope is in the future more stories are run and give answers and closure to especially the Expanded/Legonds universe, as well as extending the Disney Universe. ## Features - New Store Stock ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | 440,494 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) 142 in Star Wars 1,084 in Science Fiction Anthologies (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 196 Reviews | ## Images ![Star Wars Insider: Fiction Collection Vol. 1 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715v3yehX+L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stories and superb art *by A***S on 20 May 2026* Short stories are such a fun way to expand the universe, and lend themselves really well to Star Wars. Bought for my son as a birthday present and he was thrilled. Since it was a gift I haven't read any of it myself. . .yet ( I plan on borrowing it for a read sometime) but if the stories are even half as great as the presentation, then they will be an awesome read. ## Frequently Bought Together - Star Wars Insider: Fiction Collection Vol. 1 - Star Wars Insider: Fiction Collection Vol. 2 - Star Wars: Rebels --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/244259790-star-wars-insider-fiction-collection-vol-1](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/244259790-star-wars-insider-fiction-collection-vol-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
