Great kit designed that is easy to use. Great for beginner or expert.
Really nice kit that made changing heat sinks on my CPU a snap. Just follow the instruction. Solution One softens and removes the old thermal compound. Solution Two is used to clean up any left over traces of Solution One and thermal compound. The microfiber cloth works great and can be cleaned by soaking in 70% alcohol and then washing with a mild soap and water. The Arctic Silver 5 compound was easy to use. I just put a Pea size amount and then put the heat sink on the cpu. The included anti static wrist band keeps stray static electricity from zapping the cpu or other parts on your Motherboard. It fit well on my wrist and mine are quiet large.

Brought my gaming laptop back from the dead!
In 2012, I bought an MSI G series laptop for $1500~. I know, I know, terrible decision. While it was a monster for a year or 2, it is not upgradeable outside of RAM. Anyway, 5 years ago my laptop began shutting off as soon as I'd load up a game. It was essentially dead. I tucked it under my bed in 2015 after cleaning it didn't work where it rested in peace for years. I was cleaning my room during the covid quarantine when I found it laying there. I decided to dust it off, as I couldn't remember what was wrong with it. It fired right up, yay!! Logged on to a game to see if it could handle it, it actually could! Yay! Then BAM, shutdown. SIGHHHH. Then it dawned on me, this is overheating and for a few bucks, it's worth a shot to change the thermal paste. 2 days later, my package arrives, I strip her down, clean it to a shine with the provided cleaner, add new paste, put it back together and hold my breath for the moment of truth......BOOM! Good as new again! Unfortunately, it has 10 year old technology and I can only play older games, but this paste is the truth, and I highly recommend it!

Great kit at a great price
I used this kit on a computer I got second hand. Upon disassembly there was no sign of thermal paste ever being applied to the cpus. After using this kit temps are down from 70+C to 30C, couldn't be happier. To use: Apply the cleaning solvent to the top of the cpu, avoiding putting so much it spills over the side. Wipe clean with a lint-free rag or cloth (coffee filters work pretty well). Repeat until the rag/paper looks fairly clean after finishing a cleaning round. Then apply the second cleaning solution (this cleans up residue/oils from the first, more aggressive solution) and wipe clean. Let the CPU dry. Then apply the thermal compound to the middle of the processor in a dot that is about the shape of a grain of rice and about as thick as a pea. Put the heat sink back on using moderate pressure, and then reassemble. As the processor heats up it will loosen the thermal compound allowing it to spread evenly all on its own. There are several different methods to applying the compound, but I saw a test recently indicating that the application style/method doesn't make a detectable difference. Just make sure you put enough on to allow for decent coverage, but not so much it pushes out the sides of the processor-heat sink sandwich.

If your using Thermal Paste, you should already own this. Works great, combo pack was a good deal.
It's Arctic Cleaner, if your a PC builder there isn't much to say...The cloth was nice. The static wristband was cheap.I didn't need the Thermal Paste, but I have used it before and it works great.Bottom line, if your concerned about a static wristband during the process, get the package without one and buy a better one.For anyone who may be building for the first time, this is the only thing I have ever used aside from Isopropyl alchohol to clean my Intel Chip/Heatsink and it workss wonders (still suggest the Isopropyl with it)... beware that it reeks and it can eat through a cheap bag if you spill the cleaner (bottle 1) onto either of the bottles themself and will smell even through most ziplock bags.Only complaint on my end since I have 3 Anti-Static wristbands now was the packaging...it was shipped in a cheap bag bouncing around with other products...if you read above, you can see my issue with that. It did arrive without any harm to anything, but a nice way to store these after use would be more useful than the wristband lol.All in all, a good product for a good price.

A tidy kit to make HSF change easier.
I've used the Arctic Silver 5 for nearly 2 decades. It consistently gets better results than other thermal compounds. I've used the cleaner for a decade. It does a good job dissolving old compound. Other reviews are critical of tge cleaner, but I suspect they didn't know how to clean properly or used out of order. This is not a 1-pass cleaning, and rarely is any cleaning. You must re-apply and clean as much as possible, and clean 3-5 times after you think it looks clean. If you use a WHITE cloth for the final cleanings, you'll still see residual material. Clean until a white cloth is clean. Then switch to #2 solution and repeat. Isopropyl alcohol may be good for a 3rd series of cleaning passes, but I've not had good luck with it removing the initial caked on and hardened compounds. Always good to have a grounding strap. The cloth I got was black, which is fine for the initial coarse cleaning but is of no use for the final fine cleaning where you need to visually see minute amounts of grey to determine if the surface is clean. But still, I can use then for my eyeglasses, which is perfect.

Good thermal paste for the price and good cleaning kit.
Laptop runs much much colder than stock heat sink. Did it for MSI ghost pro and whoever did it from factory did an absolute trash job. Thankfully the dissolver broke the gunk off after going over with it 3-4 times. Purifier and then the thermal paste just worked great. Simply applied it and spread it thin as I could with a spreader design for something like this. Totally worth it while upgrading my laptop hardware.

Back when I was working on my laptop as my ...
Back when I was working on my laptop as my first PC pet project, I wanted to work on removing its original CPU and install a replacement that I ordered through another E-Tail website. And yes, my laptop's CPU is removable courtesy of the Socket being PGA, not BGA. The latter would mean that I'd have to either replace the entire motherboard, which would be a costly option, or attempt to remove and install the CPU with a soldering iron. With PGA, just treat it as a cousin of sorts to LGA, which is commonly used for desktop motherboards that accept Intel CPUs. As for the installation, I lacked the means to ensure proper thermal management if the installation was a success. That is, I lacked any sort of thermal compound, paste or grease. I did a bit of research to verify the .... extensively positive customer reputation behind Arctic's thermal compound(s). So I ordered a set that contained their Silver thermal compound, along with a two stage compound remover to help remove the old compound off of the CPU and the Heatsink/Fan. It made a HUGE difference for me. My laptop's original CPU was a Intel Core i3 2370m. It's current OS is Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit. Even when idle, the CPU reached temperatures of 65-70 degrees Celsius. With its current CPU, an Intel Core i5 3340m and the new thermal compound from this kit, temperatures range from 55 to 67 degrees Celsius on average. For this, Amazon and Arctic Silver have my thanks on helping me to complete/refine my first PC pet project.

Nice combo package!
Just for Arctic 5 thermal paste and solution 1 and 2, I've actually paid a few dollars more years ago for it. This combo package comes with a nice cloth and anti static wrist strap for a few dollars less. It's one hell of a deal! I truly believe Arctic 5 is the best balanced thermal paste out there. Right off the bat, it gives you excellent thermals but give it a few days or weeks. You will see thermals drop a couple of degrees once it settles in.I highly recommend this if you are looking for thermal paste on your existing CPU cooler or a brand new one. You just cannot go wrong it.

Arctic Silver kit - The Best
a great little kit, all you need to clean up the old, dried up thermal paste and apply the new. Clean Fluids and the included anti static wrist strap. sealed the deal on this for me. I would buy this again.

Not bad for a clean kit
Wouldve liked an extra thermal paste but its sufficient to say the least
