They also go up a few inches onto the stomach to provide some flattening of the lower stomach too, I’d for sure call them a little high rise, love it. Also the company sent me an amazing free pair of legging shorts, with pockets! Love love love. For sure ordering more next pay check! The pants hug me without being thight. This darker wash is a little loser on the knee area than the light wash but they are not baggy. I love the way my bottom looks in them and I can get 2 wears with no streaching in between washes. I am 178lbs 5'4", the large fits perfect.
