WELL MADE, PERFECTLY WARM!! NOT TOO HOT, NOT TOO THICK, AND NOT TOO THIN !!
Mmmmmm I recently received these socks December 4, 2019 and started wearing them immediately! So far I love these socks and here’s why: I work outside in all seasons doing construction, fencing, and welding; sometimes a lot of walking, sometimes a lot of standing. I use two different styles of boots depending on wet weather or dry. During the warm wet weather, no problem, I wear compression socks in my Knee-High Boggs boots; they don’t fall down and my feet only get wet from sweating blahhh !! Next, during summer and warm dry weather, with my leather cowboy-boot-like hunting boots or my whites welding boots, I wear Knee-High compression liners and wool socks over the liner (even in sweltering heat). Sure the wool wicks away the sweat but the tightness of my shoe laces keeps the socks up to an extent, so not too much of a sagging problem there. Point is, I wanted to wear just one pair of wool socks that weren’t too thin or too thick that my feet get hot and of course that would stay up even with a lot of walking ++ and these socks do just that !! They don’t fall down and are not too hot!! And my feet didn’t get cold standing in once place either!! What's my physique? I’m 5’10 about 235 lbs and I have short legs LOL and I have fairly good sized calves (because I’m an active athlete) but not overly sized huge calves, so they fit just right, all the way up to the bottom of the knee but OMG not over the knee haha. I tested these socks out by walking many miles in both pairs of my boots wearing ONLY these socks . . . never once did they slide down nor did my feet get cold !! The biggest problem I have is when I wear my Muck or Boggs boots, even with my wool over-the-calf-knee-high socks, is that they always slide down. Then I am stuck with wearing very thin compression socks just so my socks will stay up and then my feet kind of get cold. Maybe sagging socks isn’t so much a problem for other people, but it is for me. Now I can slip on just one pair of socks, get dressed faster, then go to work or hunting and they will stay up the whole day and keep my feet perfectly warm :) In the end, these socks seem to be made to last, and again, not too thick or thin, or hot or tight either; they’re even marked L and R so you don’t get them mixed up haha !! Love em !! Highly recommend !!

Great performance
I put a lot of time in my ski boots 60-70 days per season. These socks have helped keep my feet warm and comfortable while skiing, most of all they stand up to multiple use and abuse. I’ve been using them for 2 weeks now rotating between two pair. So far the have been great and have held up through multiple washes and long 8-9 hour days patrolling and skiing! Some of the best socks I own.

Very toasty and comfortable! But...
Just missed for a 5 star because of wear. Please read. Performance wise from a warmth perspective, these socks fit the bill. In temps below 0 degrees F while snowmobiling in Maine, these were the only socks I had on as in no double up. Didn’t make my feet sweat or didn’t come close to ever feeling cold. Comfortable up the calf which is important for all day comfort. Stayed up and never felt too tight. So 5 stars there. Only negative and may be a result of the fabrics needed to achieve such performance, after one day of wear, they are already pilling and somewhat losing their shape around the foot part. Washed when I returned home. Obviously still have the pills and the foot stretch didn’t come back in shape. I would still recommend these just with the caveat of not knowing long term wear at this point. Thank you for your product and keeping my feet warm!

$$$ Expensive but worth every penny!
These socks are amazing in comfort, fit, warmth, and style! They stay up to your knees as they luxuriously hug your feet and calves. I have not tried them with ski boots yet, but tested them this past week during the frigid bomb cyclone in New York in fairly deep snow. I paired them with my Sorel Caribou Wool boots, and was toasty warm in sub-zero temperatures while shoveling snow for hours. They have a letter “L” and a “R” woven into the magnificent wool indicating left and right (I assume) just below the toe seam. This is a first for me wearing socks for over 50 years 😜 I am impressed with the material and workmanship and their ability to stay in place without restriction! I highly recommend them if you don’t mind spending the money to keep your feet perfectly warm!

Love these socks!
Love these! The PureAthlete Wool Skiing Snowboard Socks are great ski socks! They are soft - not itchy or scratchy and they keep your feet warm while skiing. These socks are not as thin as the PureAthlete Warm Skiing Socks, they are just a little thicker, but not bulky. These are also a little warmer than PureAthlete Warm Skiing Socks. The PureAthlete Wool Skiing Snowboard Socks are also great for just wearing around when it is cold. I am 5'8" inches and weigh 150 pounds and wear a women's size 9 shoe - the Medium fit perfectly. I like that they reach all the way to my knee and don't fall down.

Fantastic sock!
I have had the opportunity to try these socks out for 3 sessions now. Temps were: 42F, 30F, and 22F. The socks performed wonderfully all three days. They replaced a very old pair of Oakley snowboard socks I had been using since I started snowboarding 5 or so years. They served me well but were at the end of their serviceable life. I was anxious to replace them as they have worked so well for me for so long. I am happy to report that the pure athlete socks are worlds above my previous socks. They are highly cushioned but not obtrusively so. They are very warm without numbing the feel in my snowboard boot. Very happy with them.

Comfortable Good socks
I didn't get exactly what I was hoping for. I bought these socks because I work in a freezer which is -10f hoping they would help keep my feet warmer. While they are warm and comfortable I would only recommend them for normal cold weather.
