Works awesome and worth a try
Works awesome and worth a try! I typically ride 9-12k miles a year including double centuries and 24 hour events. I have tried a few products off the bike store shelf but at some point in the day my mind would be distracted from the ride to a sometimes major comfort issue. With Junk Jam mostly I end the ride and later on think, hey there was no comfort issue (with the saddle and my butt). Sidenote… my wife noticed it works well on other dry skin and now has to have her own jar. So now I have a jar for down there and hers for everywhere else.

Not worth it
I bought this for doing a double century, thinking that because it costs more, it would be better than Chamois Butt'r for really long 200 mile ride. It worked OK, but it's just not worth the extra $$$. It's just a little too thin and not as easy to apply to the sit spots as Chamois Butt'r. It also turns into an extremely thin liquid (like baby oil) and totally separates if left in a car that gets somewhat hot in the summer (which isn't true for Chamois Butt'r). I'll be sticking with Chamois Butt'r (both the cream and stick) from now on.

It works
It works really well. Easy to use. The smell is very strong, almost like the smell of a cheap adhesive bandage. And it’s quite a bit more expensive than other comparable items. 4 stars because it does work well, one star removed for the odor.

" My tennis balls went from rubbing and painful chaffing to sweet
They should of named this "Coddled Balls" or "My Balls are in Heaven." My tennis balls went from rubbing and painful chaffing to sweet, coddled tennis balls, all thanks to this cream. I dont know how I went thirty eight years of my life without this. I get such satisfaction knowing that my tennis balls will no longer chaff when I spend the day outside on the court, pounding out my backswing. If you're a male, you need this in your life more than that woman, nagging in your ear right now. Thank god for the creator of this.

Junk Jam for all situations
Living in a ski town, our air is dry and cold. I was looking for a lanolin based product that had multi uses, instead of having to buy 3 or 4 different products. I am using Junk Jam on a daily basis for chapped lips, night moisturizer for my face and especially when I head up to the slopes. Wherever my goggles don't cover, I will spread junk jam on (nose, cheeks, chin, lips, etc..). It not only gives it a protective barrier to the wind, but also moisturizes at the same time.

Product had melted and leaked all over packaging when I received it in the mail on a very hot day. Couldn't even try it out as it was complete liquid and a mess everywhere. I'm hesitant to ask for a replacement as I'm not sure it would arrive intact without melting again during the summer. Was looking forward to trying it out for a long race coming up next week. Bummed.

Sticky/pasty
I usually pick another chamois cream thats not sticky. I do not like the stickiness of this product and therefore can’t really review as I prefer other products

Returned to using Paceline Chamois Butt'r
I purchased this looking for a little bit of heavier chamois coverage for my 50+ mile bike rides. I typically use Paceline chamois butt'r product that I conveniently pick up from my local bike shop. While "Junk" has good reviews, for me it just wasn't worth the additional cost. Applying from the jar is very messy and unsanitary. With any kind of warmer weather forget it -- the product melts into a mass of liquid, deeming it unusable. If not for such a personal product this would have been returned day 1.
