Why won't the lid close? My husband purchased this and it won't shut (we are not talking about the finger protecting gap have it assembled correctly!

Yeah.. I noticed i put my hinge on backwards according to the directions, however when i turn it the way they want it to go, it don't match up at all because of a little metal tab they put on it that stops the movement. Basically the hinge in unusable

What is the disney car toy chest made out of?

Engineered wood ,also known as composite wood,it's a man made wood ,very hard,and sturdy,I just bought a toy box,& it was very easy to assemble.& It is well built.

Sorry, there is no assembly video.

It’s not too big. It fits well in my children’s room and they have a toddler bed, crib, and tv stand in their room.
