Stay Fresh Universal Pie Container

If you bake a lot of pies, this is a great, functional storage item -- both for storing glass pie pans in the cupboard and in the refrigerator. Container is deep enough to hold a pie with a topping (meringue, whipped cream etc.) and it's big enough to store both my 9 inch glass pie pans when not in use. I've had it for a year + and it shows no signs of 'wear and tear.' Easy to clean -- and I always wash it by hand. I'm not sure the plastic would hold up in the dishwasher.

I have used this container for all kinds of goodie's.I have used it many times over a year. It has kept fresh cakes, brownies cookies, rice crispy treats and more.No issues with the hinge and no problems with the lid.

This pie saver is big. Quite big. It's a good thing if you are a real baker and make nice size pies, but it was pretty sad to see my pre-made store bought 9" crust pie sitting in here. On a positive note there is plenty of room to slip your fingers on either side to lift the pie out of the container. Wish the lid was not connected, but really am not going to cry about it. Now I know the lid won't get misplaced. Bottom line is it works, it helps to transport pies and it's nice an sturdy so you can stack them. It's suitable for a serious baker who makes nice big pies and it will get the job done for us half-A@# bakers who bake little 9" pies.

I like the size, works well for meringue pies, easy to clean. The sturdiness is a little suspect, time will tell. The container itself is sturdy, the “hinge “ seems weak, but so far so good. It is large, takes up a lot of space. But I do like it.

Love it!! Love the hinged lid so I won’t lose it or have to search for it among other lids. I’ve searched high and low for a pie container / saver that would fit my large glass Pyrex pie plate. So if you have a ceramic or glass dish that is large and are having the darndest of times finding a container to place those yumtastic pies in so you don’t have to wrap them up in aluminum foil or plastic wrap which is so cumbersome when unwrapping and wrapping again repeatedly when getting a slice out or try that when taking your pie to an outing and the dad-limb wind is blowing at all, the slightest breeze sends your tin foil flying across the yard so someone with some agility has to chase it down. Then once it’s fetched you must hope it’s clean or get another piece and then make sure you anchor that bad boy down so it won’t happen again! Lol Yeah, makes for laughs but not when you’re in a dress, older and don’t run as fast and it’s you they’re laughing at and by golly don’t fall cuz that skirt might just just become a head scarf! Eekk lol Okay, you get the idea! Unless you like that kind of entertainment then keep using the tin foil. But I’m so glad I finally found this pie container and actually just ordered another. I initially ordered just one to see if I liked it and as soon as my pecan pie went into it like a glove into a hand but still has loads of room above it in case I make a chocolate pie with loads of meringue…yeah, it’s perfect and I can never make just one pie. I always make at least two different pies when I bake. You are sooo gonna love these!!! Heck I finally have somewhere to put my buttermilk biscuits to store them once their cooled off. I’m already thinking of so many uses. Cupcakes, biscuits, pies, cornbread, hoecake etc. It’s on like Donkey Kong baby!!

I purchased two, when I received them the latch was broke on one. I requested a replacement for the one. I received two more, one of which had the hinge broken off. Sent the two broken ones back. They are large and roomy but not sure how well they are going to hold up to use.

Now I feel safe when taking my pies to an event because I know the Pie Container will not fail me regardless of what I put inside. Hot, cold: it does not matter; it works well. I was hesitant at first when seeing the circa 2 inch hinge; however, that is of no concern to me now. In years it may fail but by then it probably will not matter. Even if it did fail the integrity of the container is sufficiently well made so as not to have alarm. I appreciate a well thought out product and this is just that. The thickness permits seeing the pie or whatever inside and I can be assured that nothing has spilled and even if it did because of a tight fast turn it just means that I can be prepared to clean it when I arrive. The seal is tight enough to keep the contents fresh and cut down on air exchange. Bottom Line: Well worth the price and I will get at least one or two more soon.

really is great for pies! Keeps pies fresh that I was hoping for when purchased. I bought several for my family as gifts a and they love them!

I liked that my quiche fit perfectly inside yo protect it in the freezer. I liked it so much that I bought a second one to give as a Christmas present.

this container is the perfect size, the only thing I didnt care for is the thin hinge

Great to keep pie fresh. Only issue difficult to match up bottom and top to get the container to snap shut.
