This one is really durable and good looking. I wasted too many kitchen timers because they are broken very easily. This one is very functional and the noise level is sufficent. I could not live without it.

Rings sometimes but you can’t rely on it. Useful if you keep an eye on it.

Very easy to clean my grubby paw prints from the clock. Nice loud ring at the end of the timing.

This deserves 0 stars its shaped like an egg but you can't time anything that takes 5 minutes or less! 1. I tried many times to set it to 5 minutes and it makes a faint ding sound that is almost inaudible and cannot be heard if your doing any cooking in the kitchen. 2. If you set it for 5 minutes, you will get the above faint ding anywhere between 2 and 3 minutes, not even close to 5 minutes, I tested this many times with my Garmin running stop watch. Absolutely RUBBISH product even worse it was an "Amazon choice" product. 3. The only reason I have given it one star is that I can't give it any less! G.

Looks lovely: its shape & brushed metal finish. But does it work? On a basic level - YES. BUT. It could be so much better. 1 the alarm that tells you its time is up is so short in time that it's easy to miss. 2 the sound of the tick as it winds down is too low. I found myself not trusting it and picking it up to check that it was working ....

This is a very simple timer, no batteries, with a ringing sound on finishing, more than adequate for most kitchens. Remember to turn the base round fully and then back to your required time to get a decent length of ringing sound. I bought one many years ago and just had to replace it and would buy again.

Works well and looks good!
