Good product
Adhered well to broom finished concrete. Worked great for marking off concrete joint sealing. Easily removed with no residue. Good product at a good price.

The good stuff.
Perfect for labeling containers, sticks great, and high vis to write on. Would definitely be careful putting it on anything other concrete or metal for actual painting, it'll snatch paint right off drywall.

superior performance slashed prep time without compromising versatility
Less adhesive means can DIY-er can reposition easier for attaining more precise lines, or into tight corners. Did outside windows and setting tape was only a roughly half time than running the paint itself. Does not appear would hold overnight especially if cold and damp, however that's the trade-off. Therefore, don't tape more than you have time to paint that day.

Best “masking” tape ever
I have bought numerous rolls of the Scotch 2060 masking tape for “Rough surfaces”. First of all, I don’t use it as masking tape but I use it for many other things. This is NOTHING like the cheap masking tape, green or blue, that is commonly used when painting. The tape is tougher, and the adhesive is incredible. It is advertised for “rough surfaces” such as cinder block, concrete, rough wood, etc. I use it for all these things. But I use it for far more. Some examples: - labels for storage boxes and tubs. I usually write on all labels with a Sharpie pen, - labels for items that go into the freezer, plastic bags, etc. - extra holding for things mounted on the wood lathe in the shop. - labels for wet wood turning blanks to mark the dates and weigh when monitoring drying. - depth markers for drill bits and other tools. - temporary markers for farm equipment when disassembling things for repair - surface doesn't have to be perfectly clean. - label the lids of metal feed cans in the barn - I keep a bunch of lidded metal cans for poultry/game bird, horse, and llama feed and feed supplements and need to instantly identify what is what. - during construction to mark locations - can be easily moved as needed. - label the tops of medicine bottles. - mark various things for family member with reduced vision. Often cut little triangles so show where to press or lift when opening. - The tape is practically weatherproof - I often use it outdoors to temporarily fasten signs to gates and things. I buy these in a variety of widths. One tip - if unused rolls are stored for years, keep them in a plastic box or bag. I gave a sample to a professional painter and he was impressed with the stickiness of the adhesive. He planned to get some for when painting trim around brick and such. The down side: if you use this tape as a label and leave it on for a few years, it may be difficult to remove.

Quality varies by source
The first roll of this, which I got a few years ago, said "Made in Canada" and was wonderful tape... I used it for dozens of different projects and it always stuck very securely. In the current listing it says it's made in China, then in the details section it says made in USA.... however, in the photo, if you do a blow-up, it says made in Canada (must be an old photo)... so to find out I ordered one from Tool Deals and it just arrived. This one says "Made in Canada using globally sourced materials"... whatever that means. Anyway, the quality is similar to the Canadian stuff I've been using, but just a little less sticky. I imagine the complaints I've read may be about ones made in China. It would be nice if the reviewers would mention the country of origin. Anyway, I'm buying a few more, as I envision a day when they will all come from China, and then the quality will be much worse then what I just got today.

Not as stick as advertised
I would try another brand...I tried to use it on brick and it barely held

It sticks really good and when you take tape off it doesn’t take paint off the baseboards
When I take the tape off it doesn’t remove paint, it’s a great product, I used it to tape baseboards so no paint would get on them, when I was painting.

Great for decorating
I used this in preparation for painting our bathroom. Sticks much better than standard masking tape, but is still easy to remove afterwards. The colour is also good as you can easily differentiate the tape from walls/paint.
